Eric Gerner was name Wake N Skate's General Manager last week by new shop owner Micah Gaudio. "We needed leadership and a vast knowledge of Wakeboarding, Wakeskating, Wakesurfing and skateboarding - Eric's professional and personal experience make him the ideal candidate for taking the shop to the next level". Gaudio also claims the shop has aggressive goals for 2008 including a massive web site launched aimed at being an even greater national player for CWB Wakeboards and Liquid Force Wakeboards. With national exposure last year of Smith Mountain Lake in major magazines such as Wakeboarding Magazine, Transworld Wakeboarding and The Standerd have propelled Wake N Skate's national exposure.

G erner also placed third in the Wakeboard World Championships in Australia in 2006 and is still a sponsored CWB rider. His main goal for Januray is implementing Wake N Skate's new POS system that will integrate with the new web site and better track the shops progress.
