Battle Of Bull Run Wakeboarding Tournament 2009

More than 300 boats and 130 riders came out for the first ever Battle Of Bull Run Wakeboard Tournament. The tournament was by-water only so the conditions were ideal. Wake N Skate Wakeboard Shop in conjunction with Atlas Wake Series and the VA Commonwealth Games served up 15 hour tournament with a two mile run. Local Riders got a dose of reality and how good east coast wakeboarding has become with only 1 out of 30 local riders placing. “There were several people I met that had never been to Smith Mountain Lake before” said Micah Gaudio Wake N Skate Shop Owner, “We wanted everyone to leave with the feeling that this was the best riding conditions for a contest they had ever experienced”
